Willoughby
Environmental Education Area
This
40-acre parcel of National Forest land is east of
Victor at the base of the Sapphire Range. It
contains a wonderful variety of habitats: a dry
sagebrush and wildflower covered bench, heavily
timbered pockets, sparsely timbered slopes and
riparian area in the valley bottom. The
variety of habitats attracts diverse wildlife
species. A one-mile nature trail provides
access through each of these habitats. Take
Willoughby Road to South Sunset Road; the
Education area is on the south side approximately
1 mile past MacIntire Lane.
